Srikantan Nagarajan, PhD, is a Professor in Residence, Director of the Biomagnetic Imaging Laboratory, and Co-Director of the Brain Research Interest Group in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Nagarajan obtained his BE in Electrical Engineering at the University of Madras, India, and he completed his MS in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Nagarajan received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship from UCSF.

 

Dr. Nagarajan’s research interests focuses on understanding brain plasticity associated with learning, and determining neural mechanisms of auditory feedback processing during speech motor control and developing novel and power algorithms of functional imaging of brain activity, brain connectivity and brain computer interfaces.
