Roya Bina received her M.D from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. She joined the Brain Development Research Program in February 2016. She is interested in the underlying mechanisms of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Her ultimate goal is to find more effective treatments and preventive measures for patients suffering from such disorders. Prior to joining the Program she worked as a general practitioner with patients with psychiatric disorders in Iran. She is involved in identifying de novo mutations in patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. At her leisure time she enjoys playing piano, dancing and traveling.
