Richard has been a volunteer at the BDRP since 2006, assisting on a number of projects related to the radiology imaging aspects of the BDRP.   Drawing on his 25 year’s experience in medical imaging, he developed a medical imaging system to receive, store, and view radiology studies of BDRP participants. He then worked diligently over the next three years formatting and importing the studies. Richard has continued his work assisting the BDRP as well as other UCSF groups on other medical imaging projects.  Besides his support of the BDRP, Richard is a board member and treasurer of the MS Quality of Life Project, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for persons with Multiple Sclerosis in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties.  Richard is an avid photographer with a passion for documenting the landscape, people, and life style of the Big Sur Coast.
