Maura is a Child Neurology Fellow at UCSF where she sees patients both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is interested in the phenotypic and genotypic expressions of neurologic diseases. She is currently working to help better elucidate the clinical presentations and underlying genetics of Infantile Spasms, Lennox Gastaut syndrome and other epileptic encephalopathies.
Maura completed her undergraduate education in Microbiology and Latin American Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed her MD at New York University School of Medicine. She then trained in Pediatrics and is completing her Child Neurology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
