Kendall Parks


Clinical Research Coordinator 

Kendall Parks joined the lab in September 2019 as the lead Clinical Research Coordinator. Kendall received her undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco in Psychology and Neuroscience. She was also a research assistant for the UCSF BrainChange Lab studying MRI techniques on the adolescent brain and the onset of mood disorders, and has previously worked as a clinical research coordinator on investigational drug trials at the UCSF Departments of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Neurometabolic Genetics. At the Sherr Lab, Kendall was involved in participant recruitment and enrollment, as well as sample and data collection for multiple ongoing projects including the ACC and Aicardi studies, the DDX3X project, and the CSF Biomarker study. She was also our lab manager who supervises all of the research assistants. Kendall will be pursuing her PhD in Psychology at Stanford University in Fall 2022, utilizing biological markers and neuroimaging to study early life stress and childhood trauma. Originally from West Los Angeles, Kendall enjoys yoga, freehand sketching, and taking ballet/contemporary dance classes during her free time.
